Acoustic Consultant (Build Environment) Full Time

Air Tightness Solutions Ltd. are specialists in non destructive testing for the building industry. We are looking for an enthusiastic environmental acoustician to join our growing team., The successful engineer will receive training to work on a wide range of domestic and commercial projects, whilst developing technical skills and career in acoustics consultancy. The opportunity to gain accreditation in other non destructive testing disciplines would also be available.

Key tasks (after induction period)

• Conducting Sound Insulation Testing


• Noise Assessments


• Fault detection


• Report handling


• Technical and written work


• Presentation of findings to clients


• Liaising with the site team


• Conducting related services as required
  
  The ability to learn new technical skills


• Reliable and consciences


• The ability to solve problems


• Clean full driving license


• The ability to work without supervision


• The ability to communicate confidently both verbally and in writing


• Inter-personal skills


• Microsoft software literacy and numeracy


• Physically capable of carrying test equipment on construction site


Qualifications and Experience

Preferable:

Science A Level, Relevant Science Degree, BSc or BEng .

Recognised Acoustic technical qualification at degree level or equivalent

Clean driving license

You must have some work experience in a customer facing role and have good written and spoken communication skills with a personable manner.,
