Starting pay is £110 per shift.

Cornerways Care provide care and accommodation services for children in care. The Home is for up to three children. You will have another person who is on 'sleeping' shift at the Home and your role will be to

Waking night shifts are between 10pm and 8am. We are looking for staff that are available between these hours.

The purpose of the role is to ensure bedtime routines and waking morning routines are kept within the home and that all children in the home are safe throughout the night. You will be responsible for updating child's records during the night and have the Home ready for the day time team.

Essential skills will include

· The ability to get on with people of all ages and backgrounds and gain their trust

· Good organisational skills and be able to attend training.

· Computer literacy and administration skills.

· Mental strength, to cope with challenging situations if and when these arise.

· Be able to write clear and concise reports.

· To think and act calmly even when under pressure.

· To communicate effectively and calmly with children, colleagues, police, social worker and other professionals.

· Should be able to complete cleaning of the home during the night.

· Can follow risk assessments.,
