Full Job Description

The primary purpose of this job is to administer the product database and maintain an accurate data set for use across the business.

What will I be accountable for?

  • Gathering, compiling, and verifying information and entering it accurately into databases such as item cards, pricing files and customer price books.

  • Import all pricing updates to ERP, managing SRPs, Trade pricing and cost pricing.

  • Maintaining the supplier and 'own brand' bar codes and alternative codes if required.

  • Maintaining packaging data/weights to assist warehouse teams with packaging data submissions.

  • Effectively managing data imports to the B2B & ERP systems to manage the data and ordering of goods.

  • Ensuring audits are completed to ensure accuracy of all product data.

  • Continually reviewing and improving the way product data is managed and updated.

  • Attending weekly team meetings and sharing best practice with the team.

  • Continual improvement of all processes through proposal of change.

  • Any other duties as may be required from time to time.

    Our merchandising team are committed to supporting our retail function drive the business forward. We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail driven data assistant to ensure our product database is accurate and our B2B/B2C sites are an accurate representation of the products we offer., Ability to work quickly and efficiently whilst paying attention to detail with data input.

  • Strong organisation and administration skills.

  • Ability to follow processes.

  • Excellent communicator.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines


  • Education and Experience:
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP (ideally Navision)

  • Experience working in administration, ideally within a product data team.

  • Web VM experience is desirable
