Care Assistant

We are looking for a Bank Care Assistant to support our services at Ghulab Ashram and Kalyan Ashram. The role will require hands on support for male customers, picking up care calls, showering, toileting and changing pads, administering medication, general domestic duties, supporting meals, nutrition and dietary needs. You will be expected to pick up shifts as required by the business, take part in training and development, staff meetings and social activities at the service.

Ghulab Ashram in Hall Green is a 36 flat Supported Living Facility for vulnerable adults aged 55+. Its is a long established service providing quality services rated `Good` by CQC and `Silver` by Birmingham City Council. Each customer has their own individualised and personal flat with a lounge, kitchen, bedroom with en suite wet room.

Kalyan Ashram in Sparkbrook is a 24 studio flat Supported Living Facility for vulnerable adults aged 55+. Its is a long established service providing quality services rated `Good` by CQC and `Silver` by Birmingham City Council. Each customer has a their own studio flat with en suite wet room and kitchenette.

It would be desirable for the successful candidate to speak one of the following language Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi or Gujarati
