Care Worker

Working in and around the surrounding areas of Retford & Worksop.

Who would like to support in their community. We require all applicants to show compassion, empathy for our clients.

Would have to be flexible, punctual and would have to keep to a timely manner.

What would you be doing?

You will be visiting clients, vulnerable adults in their own homes.

Helping them with everyday tasks. So they can continue to live in the environment they love, as this hold many cherished memories.

When people can't do what the used to do for themselves, they feel alone and isolated.

This is where you come in and show support and empathy, that they are not forgotten. This brings joy to clients that someone cares for them. You may be the only person the client may see throughout each day.

• supporting clients to learn new skill and regain their independence in their own home.



• Help with elements of personnal care, including helping in and out of bed. Getting them ready for the day and night.



• Ensuring and helping along with showering and dressing ready for their day ahead.



• Helping with dressing and undressing



• Preparing meals/snacks



• Keeping hydrated



• Domestic helping with laundry or household cleaning



• Support with shopping



• Provide medication support



• Daily living assistance and supporting the client getting around



• Motivating to achieve the goals they have set out to do



• Being warm, reliable, and a companion they can rely on.
  
  GCSE or equivalent (preferred)


Experience:

• Home care: 1 year (preferred)


Language:

• English (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
