Domestic Abuse Practitioner

Provide practical and emotional support to victims of domestic abuse/violence in Northumberland. You will support a case load of clients, working with them to develop and deliver Individual Safety and Support Plan based on a rigorous risk assessment to address and reduce the risk of harm to clients.

You will work in partnership with other agencies to coordinate joined up responses and to advocate for victims to ensure their needs are met.

Networking across communities is crucial to promote our services and how to access them.

Importantly, you will empower and enable clients to make decisions, increase their options, build their confidence to build lives free from abuse.
