Driver

Main purpose of the role is the transportation and assistance of flight crew to and from the base and aircraft.

About The Role

Shifts will be based around scheduling needs, e.g annual leave cover. Working times and hours are 12-hour shifts, both days and nights but will be dependent on availability.

• Day shift: Start 5.00am - Finish 17.00pm



• Night shift: Start 17.00pm - Finish 05.00am


You will be transporting outbound crew from the TUI crew room to the steps of the aircraft in a 13 seater mini bus. Journey averages about 2 miles per trip. You will also be required to pick up the inbound crews from the arrivals area.

Main Duties:

• To ensure the safe transportation and assistance of flight crew to and from the base and aircraft.



• Would need to be able to lift crew bags into the vehicle. Approx. 10kg



• To ensure that the OCS safety image is reflected positively through your actions and those of your colleagues.



• To ensure that the vehicles are in good working condition, kept clean.



• To complete daily vehicle checks and records.



• To be an ambassador for the company, living the OCS values of care, safety, trustworthy and expert.
  
  Previous airport experience is desired.



• Previous customer service experience and communication skills are welcomed.



• Previous minibus (up to 12 passengers) or coach driving experience is advantageous.



• Proactive, enthusiastic and a positive approach even when under pressure



• Be able to work efficiently.



• Highest regard for service quality


You will also need:

• Full UK/EU driving licence



• 5 year checkable work history, to obtain an airside pass



• Airside Driving Permit - Must be able to pass practical and medical driving tests for the Airport
