Driver's Mate

Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
- Safely secure items in the vehicle to prevent damage during transportation
- Accompany the driver on delivery routes and provide assistance as needed
- Communicate effectively with customers, ensuring a high level of customer service
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the driver
- Help resolve any delivery issues or customer concerns that may arise
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle

-This role requires any suitable candidate to utilize hand held tools, Please note that this position requires working closely with a delivery driver, therefore, no driving responsibilities are assigned to the Driver's Mate.

We are currently seeking a Driver's Mate to join our team. As a Driver's Mate, you will assist the delivery driver in transporting goods and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and excellent communication skills., Prior experience in a warehouse or delivery environment is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks throughout the workday
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Valid driver's license is required,

• Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)


• Driving: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:
