Full Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Group Parts Manager to join our team.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will maximise profit in all areas of responsibility and translate business strategy into operational plans for the parts department. Working with parts advisors, you will also develop, coach and mentor them to ensure they achieve their objectives whilst delivering results to meeting and exceeding budgets.

Additionally, you will develop and agree parts stockholding at agreed levels to ensure first time availability of parts to all customers whilst working efficiently with key personnel within the retailer to establish and implement best practices, to ensure customers receive exceptional customer service., Oversee and manage a team of employees at both our Peterborough and Stamford sites to ensure operational efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer concerns or inquiries
- Coordinate and negotiate with vendors for supplies and services
- Supervise equipment repair and maintenance activities
- Manage data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Implement systems for inventory control and warehouse management
- Monitor shipping and receiving processes to optimise efficiency
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot technical issues
- Optimise supply chain operations for cost-effectiveness

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, automotive service, and possess excellent negotiation skills.
