HGV Class 2 Driver

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 2 Driverto join our team. As a HGV Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods from one location to another. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations

- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging

- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to meet deadlines

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance or repair needs

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times

- Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise, Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Proven experience as a HGV Driver or Delivery Driver

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)

- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo
