Full Job Description

Your main responsibilities as a HGV C (Class 2) driver include:

  • the delivery of building products to sites

  • there is manual handling involved in this job

  • maintain excellent levels customer service

  • ensure accurate and timely communication with the Transport team

  • deliver goods in a timely and professional manner

  • operate within current driving and working time legislation

  • ensure good self-presentation

  • help maintain a safe working environment in line with H&S Act 1974


    • The successful HGV C (Class 2) driver will have the following

  • FLAT BED EXPERIENCE this is ESSENTIAL to this role

  • 2 years experience as a HGV C (Class 2) Driver required for insurance purposes

  • no more than 6 points on your licence (no DR, DD or IN codes)

  • possess a valid Digital Tachograph card and Drivers CPC Card

  • have a full understanding of tachograph legislation

  • ability to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism


    • Weekly pay

    Safety boots/hi-vis and licenses required at all times

    Shifts are generally Monday to Friday - which may include Nights out

    Must have flat bed experience
