Junior Data Scientist

As a Junior Data Scientist at 59A, you will work within our data science team to develop advanced algorithms, models, and tools. These innovations are aimed at enhancing our self-service platform, directly impacting our clients' operational success. This role demands a blend of mathematical or statistical understanding with creativity and willingness to learn quickly on the job.,

• Carry out various analyses of our data to test our assumptions and algorithms, including producing simulations to verify optimisation strategies.


• Build predictive models using a range of machine learning techniques.


• Develop prototypes using Python, and collaborate with the engineering team to refine and scale successful prototypes into production-ready solutions.


• Independently research new approaches, document your findings and effectively communicate them to teammates.

• Experience solving problems by the appropriate approximation of a relevant mathematical or statistical model.


• Basic proficiency in Python or similar scripting language is required.


• Good communication skills, capable of engaging effectively across various levels of the organisation.
