Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of our culinary activities. Duties:
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
- Follow recipes and instructions provided by the kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Assist cooks and chefs with various tasks as needed
- Help with food preparation, such as measuring ingredients and assembling dishes
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen utensils and equipment
- Stock inventory and notify supervisors of any shortages or expired products

Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is required
- knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
