Full Job Description

The main purpose of this role is to process orders and assist customers with enquiries. The role requires some experience in customer service. Day to day tasks will include liaising with customers regarding pricing, the status of orders, advising delivery dates and assisting with any other enquiries/queries, as well as processing orders. Candidates are required to be organised and have initiative, and work well alone as well as within a team. Strong communication is required, and a positive attitude to any challenge is a must.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

· Processing orders on Progress Plus

· Liaise with customers both via email and on the phone

· Tracking deliveries

· Updating despatch dates on the system, and keeping customers informed as to any delays/updates regarding their orders

· Liaise with the despatch team to arrange deliveries

· Liaise with the Production Manager regarding special orders, delivery dates etc.

· General pricing for customers

· Liaise with the accounts department when customers are over the credit limit/on credit hold to try and achieve a resolution

· Additional administration tasks when required (scanning, filing etc)

Organisational Relationships

· With the internal and external sales teams to ensure there is good communication within the group.

· With production department to ensure that orders go out on time, and production are aware of any special requirements.

· With the accounts department to resolve any invoice queries and customer account statuses.

    · 22 days holiday + bank holidays


  • · Profit share twice per year (once 6-month probationary period has been completed)

    · Working hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 - 17:00
