Are you a skilled and passionate Veterinary Nurse seeking an exciting career opportunity? Look no further! We are now working alongside an established Veterinary group in Hull, East Yorkshire., An opportunity has emerged for an RVN who possesses a fervent dedication to high clinical standards and exceptional customer care to join their friendly and supportive team. With a focus on small animal nursing, no prior experience in large animal care is necessary, although the chance to assist with large animals may be available if desired. The nursing team's contributions are highly esteemed, affording you the chance to fully leverage your skills and expertise. Regular nurse clinics are conducted, and nurses are actively encouraged to undertake schedule 3 procedures where confidence allows. With a diverse and plentiful case load, the nursing team rotates between theatre, circulatory nursing, inpatient care, and consulting on a rota basis, ensuring variety and job satisfaction for all. They place significant emphasis on training and mentoring, actively supporting and encouraging all career aspirations. Both of their sites function as Veterinary Nurse training practices,
consistently hosting at least one student undergoing training.

  • The role entails a 37.5-hour workweek, with 7.5-hour shifts scheduled between 8 am and 7 pm Monday through Friday. Weekend duties follow a 1:7 rota, with shifts from 8 am to 4 pm on Saturday and 9 am to 4 pm on Sunday, compensated with a day off in lieu and overtime pay for Sunday shifts. No out-of-hours work is required as coverage is provided by Vets Now, ensuring a desirable work-life balance.
