Full Job Description

The Retail Systems Assistant will have the opportunity to assist the Retail Systems Manager and the wider Retail team with administrative activities to ensure that retail assets and systems remain in operation and front-line colleagues are kept informed of changes to retail processes.

Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

· Ensure the smooth operation of the TfW Pay As You Go (PAYG) scheme ensuring all components relevant to the scheme are in good working order.

· Monitor the various remote monitoring web portals and run reports each morning to identify any retail systems not operating as expected and take action to address.

· Track retail costs and quotes.

· Arranging retail briefs related to changes or updates to retail and ticketing products or processes.

· Experience of using Microsoft office.

· Knowledge and understanding of railway ticketing and systems.

· Flexible approach.

· Customer and people focus.

· Good verbal and written communication.

Welsh Language Skills

The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
