Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure high levels of performance and security.

Responsibilities:

Designing, implementing and evaluating a network infrastructure based on organizational requirements.

Monitoring network performance, system availability, and reliability.

Installing and configuring network hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

Troubleshooting and resolving network issues, including hardware and software problems.

Collaborating with other IT professionals to develop and implement network security measures.

Conducting regular network maintenance, including updating software and hardware.

Address continual improvement measures as a result of the problem management process.

Documenting network configurations, processes, and procedures.

Providing network engineering support and training to other team members.

Mentor the team members on different technical issues. Create, test and oversee security measures

Respond to and resolve escalated alerts and tickets generated from the monitoring system and/or customer requests in a timely fashion.

Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure

Delegating networking maintenance tasks to junior staff. Dealing with escalated network support issues.

Oversee the workflow involved in maintaining company's enterprise network

Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness

Provide project support on improvement initiatives.

Participate in deep level incident troubleshooting, complex change preparation and execution.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, network protocols, SSL, and telecommunication technologies
- Experience with remote access software, SDLC, ITIL, PRTG monitoring tool
- Familiarity with network engineering, including LAN/WAN design, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN technology
