Sustainability Advisor

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to work in sustainability for a dynamic, fast-growing beauty business.

Sustainability is becoming the core of our business purpose, vision, and values, as such delivering against our sustainability strategy and targets is critical to achieving our goals.
Reporting into The Global Head of Sustainability for No7 Beauty Company, we're looking for a someone with a passion for the environment and looking for a career in sustainability.

As a sustainability Advisor, you will work within the sustainability team to ensure that the No7 Beauty Company products are enhancing our brand, whether that is through net zero, driving our products and packaging sustainability standards, or improving social value of our products and services.

• Supporting Net Zero transition activities by working with our Net Zero tool, ESG governance team and relevant business units


• Supporting activities focusing on doubling our social value


• Supporting delivery of all other internal and external sustainability requirements to ensure our commitments are met, both statutory and voluntary


• Creating and delivering training materials, communication content to educate employees and stakeholders about sustainability issues and current initiatives driving our sustainability strategy forward


• Performing research and providing analysis to identify best practices for sustainability


• Ensuring completion of annual data collection campaigns - suppliers, products, and packaging surveys


• Supporting adherence to our Product and Packaging Sustainability Standards
  
  Essential that you have a passion and understanding of the environment, the challenges the world faces and a desire to make change happen.


• You will have a scientific degree or relevant qualification.


• Experience working cross functionally


• Good visual and verbal communicator - Make complex data/concepts concise and easy to understand; coupled with the ability to influence


• Able to switch from detailed work to large collaborative projects.


• Tenacious and able to operate within an evolving environment


• Have a proactive, can-do attitude to be resolution driven.


It would be great if you also have


• Experience in an environmental role, product or packaging development, regulatory, quality, or safety.


• A scientific degree or relevant qualification.
