Transport Auditor

Based at BCA Automotive's Portbury Depot with National travel, the Transport Auditor is responsible for assisting the Quality Department in reducing damage by auditing and validating all areas of the automotive transportation chain.,

• Conduct Audits on vehicles prior to collection ensuring any notations are countersigned and systems updated


• Ensure that the business and customers quality procedure and standards are adhered to


• Ensure Group and Company Quality and H&S standards are met in order to reduce financial risk to the business and meet legal and customer requirements.


• Ensure all subcontractors adhere to the business and customer standards in all areas


• Conduct audits as required, ensuring compliance to the company and customers standards


• Production and circulation of audit reports and non-conformance reports, stimulating and recommending on-going improvements to company practices


• Ensure Audit Checklists are current and updated as a result of procedural updates


• Provide assistance within the Quality team as required


To Audit

• Any vehicle at hand over ensuring it complies to BCA and customer standards any discrepancy are noted


• Transporter drivers during and when loading/unloading to ensure compliance to both company and customers' requirements


• Subcontractors for compliance to BCA Automotive standards and our Customers' requirements


• The company's vehicles to ensure legal compliance and Cleanliness Standards


• To carry out Dealer audits and Route Reviews


• To carry out any other reasonable requests from management
  
  Educated to a good standard


• Can Do attitude


• Good communication skills at all levels


• IT Literate including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook


Desirable

• A good understanding of transporter tie down and operation


• Previous vehicle inspection experience to a high standard.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift


• Monday to Friday
