Full Job Description
- Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork
- Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures
- Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Manager
- Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
- Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules, and schedules
- Assisting with warehouse inventory controls, which typically involves using a hand-held scanner
- Treating merchandise with care and concern at all times
- Verifying the correct product counts for packages received
- Removing shipping and complex packaging materials
- Relaying and documenting productivity along with loss prevention steps to Warehouse Manager
- Customer correspondence, knowing what consumers have ordered and where to find it
- Product descriptions, using an inventory layout to suggest waiting times or resource requirements
- Time management, multitasking, and inventory organisation
- Product labelling, categorizing products by type, weight, condition, and dimensions
- Full company process & development training given
