Full Job Description

As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for various financial tasks, including but not limited to, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. You will bring a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will lead and manage a team of Assistant Accountants., · Prepare and report to Operational business areas and support on information supplied, projection, budgets and other key areas

· Ensure day to day monthly and quarterly accounts activities are completed to deadlines

· Prepare detailed supporting information for the annual accounts, ensuring compliance with statutory accounts, liaising with internal and external auditors

· Operational finance team annual budgets for all operational Group areas

· Day to day management of the team dealing with queries and offering advise

    You will be an experienced people manager with operational financial accounting expertise including budgetary responsibilities.

  • Experience of working collaboratively within Finance team as well as wider teams

  • Sound understanding of relevant IT applications and extensive knowledge of spreadsheets

  • Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-finance staff

  • You will be AAT qualified and working towards CIMA/ACCA, Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)


  • Experience:
  • accounting: 1 year (preferred)
