Accounting Technician Trainee

The role will support the overall offering of the finance service to all Trust schools - including matters on accounts payable from processing purchase orders to receiving invoices and validating and checking invoices accordingly in line with the Trust Financial Regulations Policy.

Extol Trust are seeking to employ a highly motivated and enthusiastic Accounting Technician Trainee to work as part of the Extol Trust Central Finance Team led by the Trust Chief Finance Officer. Extol Trust Central Finance Team prides itself on the quality of service that it delivers to its family of schools and the successful candidate will be supported to undertake the AAT Accounting Qualification (Level 2 - 4)

The successful candidate will start studying at the appropriate level based on previous experience undertaking this qualification. The successful candidate will be supported throughout their studies with 1 day per week during term time to undertake their studies.

The ideal candidate will have good organisational skills and the abliity to multi task and combine on the job working alongside professional study.
