Full Job Description

  • Assisting with the preparation of VAT Returns

  • Assisting with preparation of financial accounts

  • Administrative tasks such as scanning and copying


    • The training you will be getting

  • Accountancy or taxation professional

  • Apprenticeship will be up to ACCA Qualification

  • Training will be one day per week or depending on the courses block release


    • What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Career progression will be to qualify as ACCA and move on to a Managerial role within the Company

    Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Number skills, Patience, GCSE or equivalent Mathematics (Grade 7-9) Essential

    We are a general Accountancy Practice based in Macclesfield dealing with Small and medium sized Limited companies, together with partnerships and sole traders

    You could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience. This could be relevant:

  • training

  • qualifications, like an NVQ in a relevant field

  • industry or sector experience


    • Apprenticeship standard

    Accountancy or taxation professional

    Level 7 (Master's degree)
