Full Job Description

NicLen UK are hiring for a part-time Accounts Assistant to join our team based at our UK Head office in High Wycombe. This opportunity is a new role being created to support the sales and management team in the UK.

About the Role:

  • Invoices and Proforma's for Daily hires to customers - ensuring accuracy in amounts and VAT rates applied and ensuring alignment between systems.


  • Raise monthly invoices for weekly hired equipment.


  • Set up new customers and support the Head of sales with with credit checks, agreeing terms and assigning credit limits.


  • Supporting the UK Director with Credit Control helping to ensure that payments are received in a timely manner and the risk of bad debts is minimised and good credit control is always maintained.


  • Process customer credit notes and refunds when required.


  • Send out monthly statements to customers.


  • Work with the sales team to resolve customer invoice queries.


  • Dealing with customer email/phone queries


  • Provide general admin support to other departments during busy periods

    proficient in windows office, including excel.


  • · Knowledge of Sage/Xero desirable
  • Some interest in the arts, events industry will be useful but not essential.


  • Ability to work collaboratively within a small team.


  • Happy to work independently using your initiative to prioritise tasks assigned by the team.


  • Strong verbal communication skills to communicate with a diverse range of people, including our various teams across Europe (all English speaking)


  • Strong written communication skills


  • A focus on providing the very best customer service, Administrative: 2 years (preferred)

NicLen UK is the UK arm of NicLen GmbH an industry leading dry-hire supplier of all things event technology: Lighting, Audio, Video and Rigging. Since the return to live events NicLen UK has grown rapidly covering all things dry hire and adding lots of stock to our UK warehouse. Autumn 2023 marked a massive milestone with some massive plans for expansion and a new site opening in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.     Office based role between 8:30am - 5:30pm, open to flexibility on hours/days worked
