Benhurst Primary School, Hornchurch

Required: September 2024

Contract Type: Part time / Permanent

Salary: 4.7 - 4.10 - £27,855 - £29,139 p.a. Inclusive of Outer London Allowance

Actual Pro Rata Salary: £13,297 - £13,909 p.a. Inclusive of Outer London Allowance

Hours: 20hrs per week, Core hours 8.30am - 12.30pm or 12.00pm - 4.00pm

Weeks per year: 39 weeks per year (term time plus 1 week)

FTE: 47.73%

To help us with this, we are looking to appoint an part-time Administrative Support Officer at Benhurst Primary School to assist and support with a People focus on a daily basis, working in the main school office in collaboration with all school employees, under the overall direction of the Operations manager and Headteacher.

The successful candidate will:

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint

  • Be able to plan effectively to enable multi-tasking

  • Experience of working in a busy office environment

  • Be diplomatic, confidential, and calm under pressure

  • Be passionate about working in a school and with young people

  • Ability to be flexible to suit the needs of the school
