  Electricity North West distributes electricity through 57,000 kilometres of overhead lines and underground cables, enough to go around the world one and a half times. We actively manage the power network in real time, responding to issues with remote technology and teams on the ground. We provide an essential service to 5 million people in 2.4 million properties covering 10% of the electricity demand of Great Britain from Cheshire to Cumbria.

You will learn to work on our 14,000 kilometres of overhead lines safely at height. We will provide you with the knowledge, skills, training and tools to enable you to build, maintain and repair our overhead electricity lines on wooden poles or steel towers. This role is critical to ensuring our customers in more rural areas have electricity supply to power their homes, phones, laptops and TV's.
