We offer a range of learning and development for all employees may you be clinical or non-clinical., The position of Senior Healthcare Assistant is to ensure that the service user's needs are met and to assist the team in maintaining high standards of care delivery., The post holder will provide high quality fundamental care to patients under the supervision a Registered Practitioner in a caring, compassionate and sensitive manner:

  • Acting always in the patient's best interests.

  • Protecting and maintaining the patient's privacy and dignity at all times.

  • Providing individualised care for a diverse group of patients respecting personal beliefs and preferences.

  • Alert the Registered Practitioner and/or Ward/ Department Manager to any change or concern relating to the welfare of the patient in a timely manner.


  • The post holder will be actively involved in providing supervision and guidance to junior / less-experienced staff.

    Applicants must be a current Band 2/Band 3 Healthcare Assistant in the trust, having completed the Care Certificate, and relevant experience.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our small, friendly team in ENT out-patients.

    We are looking for enthusiastic highly motivated individuals with excellent communication skills.

    Applicants must be a current Band 2/Band 3 Healthcare Assistant in the trust, having completed the Care Certificate, and have relevant experience and clinical skills such as ECG and venepuncture., We are looking for candidates with a desire to provide compassionate support and care, good communication skills, a flexible approach and enthusiasm to work within the team.

    What we need from you:

    Appropriate verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

    Flexible and responsive to the working environment.

    Practical ability, prioritization and time management.,
  • Experience as Healthcare Assistant within an acute hospital environment or equivalent setting., Previous experience of working within relevant specialty., Successful completion of Trust's Band 2 Developmental Passport or ability to demonstrate equivalent level of competence., NVQ / QCF level 3 in Health or Health and Social Care.
