Full Job Description

We are looking for a talented Bar Assistant who is capable of consistently exceeding our guest expectations by always delivering an outstanding and personable focused service to ensure customer satisfaction is of the highest level.

The role is wide and varied, one minute you'll be working in our beautiful Blossoms Bar, then you could be part of someone's very special celebration in our brand new Lake View Events Suite Bars.

Our successful Bar Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that every guest receives a warm and friendly welcome on arrival.

  • Delivering the highest standards in food and beverage service..

  • Exercising an eye for detail and consistently delivering a seamless service and able to rise to the challenge of our guests.

  • Ensuring correct set up of the bar maintaining the highest standards in a relaxed and attractive environment.

  • Anticipating guests needs, responding promptly, creating solutions to any issues that may arise.

  • Taking responsibility for cash handling and use of our POS system.

  • Maintaining a friendly and enjoyable relationship with other team members

    Previous bar experience preferably from within a luxury service environment

  • Excellent knowledge of hot and cold, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including specialist drinks and cocktails

  • Cash handling experience

  • A positive friendly attitude and warm personality

  • A passion for the hospitality industry and our guests

  • A desire to provide consist, excellent customer service, not only meeting the guests' needs but exceeding their expectations.

  • Willingness to learn, and champion their own training and development.

  • Good liquor licensing awareness
