Full Job Description

As an events barista, your focus will be to facilitate and lead all areas of events for the espresso bar, preparation area, stock & storage. You will also be required to ensure that all quality, health & safety, housekeeping, and maintenance standards are maintained. You will be working and learning alongside some of the best coffee professionals in the country, growing your coffee career in the process.,

  • Planning and Preparing the Stock for the Events Team. Monitoring & Ordering stock for events throughout the year.


  • Operating and maintaining all aspects of events equipment. Managing the start-up/shut down processes at the start/end of each event / shift.


  • Performing quality assurance and testing checks, as required, to ensure that quality standards in food & drink production are maintained.


  • Performing regular and preventative maintenance on Espresso Bar, Cleaning & Events machinery to ensure optimum performance levels are maintained.


  • Noting machine faults and reporting to the Technical & Operations Directors as required.


  • Maintaining work areas and equipment as required, ensuring adherence to, and leading on strict health, safety, and NSF requirements

    Exceptional Stock Rotation & Management Skills. This role is very much hands on and given the nature of the job, some non-core hours, weekend and bank-holiday working will be required. You will need to be physically fit to meet the requirements of the job as it will require good mobility, physical strength, the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy objects and the physical dexterity needed to use machinery. You will also need to work on foot for extended periods.


  • Technical Skills:
  • Computer Literate: Mac OS, Microsoft Office Stack & Square Till Systems.


  • Aptitude for timely execution of tasks and daily deadlines.


  • Compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety Standards Organised. Exceptional Time Management Skills.


  • Knowledge of Service & Maintenance for all Espresso Bar, Cleaning & Kitchen Equipment.


  • The ability to dial in and brew a range of espresso and filter coffee.


  • The skill to pour consistent latte art.


  • Delivering high quality drinks in accordance with our menu.


  • Knowledge of all food & drinks products.


  • Extremely High Standards of Personal Hygiene., Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)

  • Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)

  • customer service: 1 year (preferred)


  • Willingness to travel:
  • 100% (preferred)
