Barista

The ideal candidate will have had several years' barista experience, be be outgoing and confident, and understand the importance of excellent customer service. They will have a keen interest in coffee and understand aspects of coffee brewing, have good personal hygiene, be punctual and reliable. The candidate will have detailed knowledge of the processes to make perfect speciality coffee.

You would be working with one other staff member to maintain our high standards of excellence in making and serving speciality coffee and French cafe food. the job entails setting up the cafe ready to open, including baking pastries, welcoming guests, taking orders, fulfilling hot drinks and heating food if needed. ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness both behind and in front of the counter, re-stocking and closing down and till / cash management. We are a small business so duties can be flexible where needed so looking for an all-rounder but with specific barista skills.

This is a weekend job - Ideally you would be available to work most Saturdays (open 9 - 4 pm ) and all Sundays (opening 9 - 3pm)
