Catering Assistant

We're looking for a Catering Assistant join our friendly Retirement Living Team at , in Duston, Northampton. This role is part time, working 18 hours per week on a rota basis, including every other weekend.

Shifts are typically between but this may vary to meet events held on site.

St Crispin Village is one of our largest Retirement Villages where we typically cater for 45-50 meals each day. In this role you'll support the restaurant service by providing a professional waitressing service, including :

• Table setting


• Taking orders and handling cash


• Serving meals and beverages


• Cleaning down tables ensuring standards of cleanliness are upheld and the restaurant area is presentable at all times


• Where required, supporting the Kitchen staff to prepare light meals, printing menu sheets and cleaning down.


We also offer a delivery service to our customers which means you may also be required to deliver meals to their onsite apartments too.

Our ideal candidate? We're looking for individuals who are customer focused and motivated to deliver a consistently high level of service.

Ideally, you will have :

• Experience of waitressing or experience of working in a kitchen; And


• Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2.
