Class Assistant, Maths and English, (Pre-school, Primary and Secondary Age)

We're looking for a very special individual who is quietly confident, passionate about making a difference to children and young people, enjoys education and in particular, maths and, or English, is able to work from 3/3:30 pm until 7:15 pm on a Tuesday and Thursday, is able to work under pressure and at pace, is able to follow direction but also able to work independently and use initiative and is able to inspire children to be the best they can.

The role requires a good level of organisation, literacy and numeracy skills, the ability to work accurately and to deadlines, strong communication skills and genuine passion for making a difference. Knowledge of the Kumon methodology is desirable. Training will be provided and ongoing. All our team multi-task and therefore reception duties including dealing with email and phone enquiries are at times an integral part of this role.

We're growing in popularity and therefore need to recruit a Class Assistant to work in our mixed age classrooms supporting children in developing their knowledge of maths and, or English, marking and recording class and homework and supporting with one-to-one, small group work and individualised study.
