Cosmetic Formulation Scientist

Formulating Skincare and Haircare products

- Creating Manufacturing Sheets

- Producing bulk batches by operating production machines

- Helping with filling, packaging, labelling, palletising finished products

- Receiving raw materials and keeping track of batch codes and expiration dates of raw materials

- The work can be repetitive and will involve standing for long periods. It involves heavy lifting during manufacturing

- Maintain to the highest level, production standards and product quality and in line with our hygiene policy and GMP

- Completing documentation such as production, assembly, and cleaning forms

- Cleaning and basic maintenance of machines, equipment and work areas

- Work under own initiative to complete production runs

- Operation of a variety of production machines. On site training will be provided

- Liaise with other members of staff to ensure smooth production runs and operations processes

- Assembly and unassembly of production machinery for maintenance, cleaning and sterilisation

Previous experience working in manufacturing environment

- Previous experience in cosmetic / personal care formulation

- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude

- Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively and safely

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team

- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time,

• Diploma of Higher Education (required), bulk production: 1 year (preferred)
