An exciting opportunity has risen to join our busy and friendly team in the Endoscopy Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. We are looking for a team player to the join the decontamination team and can help us to provide compassionate and high quality care to our patients by supporting the team with the decontamination of our Endoscopes.

Following the National infection Control Standards of the decontamination including the processes for tracking and tracing of Endoscopes. To help maintain the variety of endoscopes, following the departmental procedures and standards., An exciting opportunity has risen to join our busy and friendly team in the Endoscopy Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. We are looking for a team player to the join the decontamination team and can help us to provide compassionate and high quality care to our patients by supporting the team with the decontamination of our Endoscopes. Following the National infection Control Standards of the decontamination including the processes for tracking and tracing of Endoscopes. To help maintain the variety of endoscopes, following the departmental procedures and standards., lean, decontaminate and maintain a variety of endoscopes, following departmental protocols, to agreed standards.

Maintain accurate, legible and legally sound records of care and assessment provided to patients.

Communicate information effectively to nurses, patients / carers and members of the multidisciplinary team.

To maintain the dignity and privacy of all patients and respect their right to confidentiality

  • General education to age 16 years

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills, experience in health care setting

  • Experience of working with people
