- Staff management responsibilities: recruitment, induction, training, absence management and performance management
- Delivering high quality dialysis
- Monitoring nursing standards, ensuring compliance with the NMC Code
- Liaison with other dialysis unit managers in the Oxford Kidney Unit
- This role will enable you to consolidate your chronic and acute haemodialysis skills, and enhance your team leadership skills., You will be an experienced Haemodialysis nurse with experience caring for acutely ill dialysis patients.
- Level 1 Registered Nurse (UKCC)
- Educated to degree level
- Renal Course or equivalent, Evidence of personal & professional development
- Experience of caring for renal patients
- Medical ward experience
- Dialysis experience, You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

You will act as a role model for junior team members in the delivery of a consistent high standard of nursing practice within the Team.
You will deputise for the Senior Sister / Charge Nurse and will support the leadership and management of the unit with particular emphasis on quality and clinical standards.
You will be expected to regularly take charge of the shift and take responsibility for ensuring the coordination and direct provision of high standard dialysis care.
We are looking for an experienced renal nurse to lead a well-established and highly skilled team who are committed to delivering high standards of care. You will be passionate about renal nursing, enthusiastic and professional with the ability to have a clear vision for running the current service. You will need extensive HD experience and knowledge and the ability to think quickly on your feet is vital.
We are looking for someone to join our Acute Dialysis Team. The team works Monday to Sunday, 07:30 - 20:30 and it is based in the Renal Ward at the Churchill Hospital. You would be dialysing acutely unwell patients that are too unstable to go to an outpatient setting. You would be dialysing patients from all over the Trust., You will need to be self-motivated and have the ability to motivate and move forward a team of nurses to optimise and enhance patient care. You should be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of health care delivery and a patient centred approach to care.
To be successful, you will need to be a qualified RN with a valid NMC registration. You will also need the appropriate skills in communication, organisation, leadership, and some HR experience. You must have excellent customer care, communication and interpersonal skills and be flexible and able to adapt to and support change.,
