The Position

Responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive local Diversity, Equality & Inclusion (D,E&I) strategy that aligns with our global strategy and addresses the specific needs and challenges of our UK organisation.

Skillfully navigating our global organisation to understand the DE&I landscape both globally and locally. Weaving a thread through global and/or local networked groups which span a spectrum of DE&I topics.

Taking an insight-led approach to architect, deliver and drive the UK strategy, and develop engaging and impactful communications to engage and inspire our people. Ultimately achieving outcomes which reflect our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and truly making a clear and measurable impact.

This is a 2-year fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive local DE&I strategy that aligns with the global strategy and addresses the specific needs and challenges of the UK organisation

  • Training and Education: Develop where needed, and oversee the implementation of DE&I training programs and initiatives, ensuring employees are educated on topics such as unconscious bias, cultural competence, and inclusive leadership.

  • Employee Resource Groups (ERGs): Encourage and support the formation and activities of ERGs, providing a platform for employees to connect, share experiences, and contribute to DE&I efforts.

  • Partnership and Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as global and local DE&I colleagues, People & Culture (HR), leadership teams, and employee representatives, to embed DE&I principles and mindset across all levels of the organisation.

  • Communication: Develop, implement and iterate an engaging communication strategy to bring our people along on this DE&I journey, and inspire active participation. Ensure good connection between the implementation of the strategy & outcomes across all employee resource groups.

  • Measurement and Reporting: Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, regularly reporting on the impact of DE&I initiatives to senior leadership.

  • Working towards an outcome where the organisation achieves both internal recognition, and external accreditation for being a leader in DE&I. Ensuring ROI, a clear benefit for our organisational brand, and most importantly a clear impact for our people.

  • Leadership Understanding - Coach leadership teams on the sensitivity of ED&I topics and ensure they embed ED&I in their outcomes.


  • Your Profile:
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing impactful DE&I strategies, with sustainable outcomes.

  • In depth knowledge of DE&I best practices and trends.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience in measuring and reporting on DE&I initiatives is preferred.
