Full Job Description

We have an exciting brand new role and are now looking for a skilled eCommerce Marketing Manager to shape and deliver the global marketing strategies and campaigns. You will be helping shape the marketing agenda, translating into regional priorities and create regional frameworks for execution. The role covers functional areas of retail & digital marketing, analytics and planning, marketing performance and brand management.

Your role will encompass formulating effective strategies for Acquisition and Retention to achieve profitable growth. You will spearhead website activities, driving traffic, conversion, and retention in collaboration with both internal and external E-commerce partners. Additionally, you'll pioneer new strategic initiatives to optimise trade outcome.

Your strong grasp of performance ecommerce marketing, encompassing metrics such as Return on Investment and Return on Ad Spend, will guide your decision-making process. Your role will also entail understanding Consumer journeys from awareness to post-purchase and utilizing attribution models for effective campaign planning.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Use your e-commerce and instore trade/retail marketing skills to develop impactful online shopper marketing experiences & retail marketing campaigns) that grow loyalty and drive repeat visits.

  • Build our customer base and drive sales, loyalty and CRM database.

  • Develop e-Commerce specific or omnichannel retail activation campaigns and associated assets to meet shopper needs.

  • Working collaboratively with e-Commerce Trade Planner, internal creative & UX manager, internal Tour marketing and PR teams, global Warner Bros. Discovery Harry Potter franchise team & external agencies i.e. SEO & PPC.

  • Build data-based decision making in designing our e-Commerce campaigns by demonstrating A/B testing of assets and Google Analytics

  • Drive post-campaign evaluation and ensure takeaways are shared across the business

  • Liaising with the Wizarding World Tours & Retail Marketing & PR team to ensure product promotions align with instore marketing plans

    Solid experience within an E-commerce Retail Marketing role

  • Proven experience with CRM (Salesforce preferable)and Shopify

  • Solid and up to date knowledge of tools and techniques for campaign management planning, optimisation and reporting - including Google Analytics

  • Strong copywriting experience / ability

  • Highly computer literate, Microsoft Office skills at advanced level is a must-have, particularly with Excel

Studio Tour London based at WBSL - The Making of Harry Potter is the only place in the world to showcase the authentic sets, props and behind-the-scenes secrets of the Harry Potter films at the location where they were made. It has attracted over 14 million visitors since opening in 2012 and has received over 40,000 reviews on TripAdvisor with 96% rating the experience as 'excellent' or 'very good'. Since launching, additions to the Tour include Platform 9 ¾ featuring the original Hogwarts Express, the Forbidden Forest and Gringotts Wizarding Bank.

    In December 2018 WBSL acquired the Platform 9 ¾ group which has sites at the iconic location in King's Cross Station and Heathrow airport.

    The Tour & Retail group has continued to expand over the last couple of years launching our first flagship store in New York over the Summer of 2021, alongside expanding our ecommerce operations in the UK and US. The summer of 2023 saw us open a replication of our world-famous Tour in Japan, which, has been a phenomenal success.
