Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be part of our engineering team working Monday - Friday. 1 Week you will work 6am-2pm and the following week 2pm - 10pm

Our engineers must have the ability to analyse and fault-find breakdowns rapidly and perform repairs methodically and efficiently to the best engineering standards, ensuring the respective corrective actions are carried out

As most of our equipment is electronic you will be working on PLC's (fault finding) and inverters on a regular basis. You will also be responsible for PPM according to the schedule and undertaking plant strip downs, rebuilds and component repairs. Our team also conducts small project work as well as identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Completing all works with strict regard to Health and Safety, company hygiene and site procedures is of course a necessity.

We're looking for someone who holds a C&G, NVQ or equivalent Electrical qualification and who has experience working as a maintenance engineer within a manufacturing environment, ideally within a food or FMCG environment. You must possess knowledge of Food Safety, be computer literate and have excellent communication and problem solving skills.

The shift

Working Monday - Friday the role will rote on a 06:00/14:00 - 14:00/22:00 basis. Flexibility is required and there is the opportunity for overtime
