Engineering Team Leader

Due to the increasing workload with new and existing projects, we are looking for a talented Engineering Team Leader to join us.

This role would suit a Design Engineer who is looking to make the next step up in their career or a Senior Engineer who is looking for more responsibility.

As the Engineering Team Leader, you will be responsible for the leadership of the CAD Engineering team, providing monthly KPI report cards to the Director of Design and Engineering.,

• Leading the CAD engineering team to deliver work on time and to the correct standard.


• Finding efficiencies within the current workflow to increase output.


• Control of the pricing BOM and work alongside the manufacturing engineer and purchasing manager to keep pricing up to date.


• Review the CAD engineer's work and approve drawings to send out to manufacturing and installation.


• Design and review to BS EN 1176 and ASTM F1918.


• Establish good working relationships and open communication with work colleagues and all persons associated with the company.
  
  Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.


• A degree-level (or equivalent) qualification relevant to engineering.


• Strong IT skills in SolidWorks, Adobe Suite and Office Suite.


• Read and understand 2D and 3D drawings.


• A keen eye for detail.


• Organised with the ability to work to deadlines and timelines.


• Ability to take instruction and measurements whether by verbal, or by drawings and apply to the 3D models, layouts, drawings and designs.


• Be able to react quickly to any changes in the specification of the design.


• Able to communicate at all levels within an organisation.
