Experienced Electronic Security Service Engineer

The successful candidate will need to have 3+ years of experience servicing and installing IP-based CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Systems. Our Service Engineer will primarily maintain and repair security systems along with minor work installations that meet SSAIB standards. Routine maintenance, small works, and troubleshooting systems will be a large part of the role., Fault finding, small installations, additions, and relocation of IP CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder systems.

A good technical knowledge of manufacturers and conversant with Network/IP-based and analogue systems.

Perform routine maintenance tasks.

Good awareness of Health and Safety, and adherence to site requirements.

Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate with clients to explain procedures, provide advice on how to improve system performance and complete user training.

Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed on each system.

Stay up to date with industry regulations and advancements in technology to ensure compliance and improve system performance.

Collaborate with lead engineers and contractors to complete larger projects or installations where required., Proven experience (3 years +) in maintaining and repairing IP security systems. Candidates in similar roles with installation experience will be considered.

Knowledge of British Standards (SSAIB).

ECS/CSS (preferably)

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot system issues.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical issues to clients and colleagues.

Salary: Up to £34,000.00

The Successful candidate will be vetted and subject to security and financial screening to ensure suitability for this role. All candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
