Are you a passionate and innovative Early Years Teaching Assistant ready to make a meaningful impact in Carlisle?

Embark on an inspiring journey as an Early Years Teaching Assistant with a focus on Special Educational Needs (SEN) Sense Education have an immediate opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who thrives in an Early Years setting. Your role will involve supporting young learners with SEN, fostering an inclusive learning environment - school hours are 8.30 - 3.30

You will be working with a collaborative team who are passionate about helping young people with additional needs. You must previous experience of working with Autism. We will offer SEN training to support you within the role.The position

  • Work closely with Early Years educators to provide nurturing support for children with SEN.

  • Create an engaging and inclusive learning atmosphere for the youngest learners.

  • Work in harmony with the teaching team to implement effective learning strategies for Early Years children with SEN.

  • Show strong communication skills, connecting with both young learners your team and parents.

  • Motivate and engage Early Years children, making a positive impact on their educational journey.

As such we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in Schools. If you do not have a subscription to the DBS Update Service, you may be required to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process. If you take a temporary role with Sense Education you will be paid on a weekly basis.
