Full Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the running of a Ferag high speed saddle-stitching line to produce quality bound products to the highest quality and as efficiently as the job and machinery will allow.
If you have experience with high speed saddle stitching in a comparable environment, re-training will be considered.
Duties include:
- Set up machinery to produce jobs in line with job bag instructions.
- Allocate tasks to crew members
- Keep the work area tidy and machinery in good order to ensure all work is correctly labelled and quarantine procedures are followed.
- Ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner and are inline with despatch instructions
- Ensure Company Health, safety and environmental procedures are followed.
Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential. - Flexibility
- Enthusiasm and drive to work within a busy department.
- On-site parking
- 21 shifts holiday
- Average 42 hours per week
- 12 hours shifts 07.00am-19.00pm OR 19.00pm-07.00am
- Working 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off - shifts alternate between 4 days and 4 nights
- Plenty of Overtime available
