Field Service Engineer - Cardiff

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer who may have worked within the industry or has the capabilities of learning the role and post quickly. The Field Service Engineer must be able to work on their own initiative and at the same time ensure that they become part of the overall Sportsafe team.

• The role encompasses servicing & maintenance of equipment, working at high levels for repairs and installations in gyms and sports halls.


• The surveying of gym, outdoor and sports hall equipment for quotation on new orders and repairs.


• This is a high-profile role dealing with major clients and to this the individual must be presentable, IT literate and tidy when working.


• You should have the ability to operate power and hand tools.


• Ideally you will have a basic knowledge of sports and gym equipment (Desirable but can be taught).


• Have great customer care skills.


• The ability and willingness to work alone and as part of a team are key to success in this role.


• This is a Field based role and will require an element of lone working.


• Happy to work indoors and outdoors.


• Full Training will be provided which will last 10-12 weeks after which further progression training is offered.

The individual should possess the following -

• Full clean driving licence (Manual).


• Be prepared to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.


• Be computer literate.
