Full Job Description

  • You will lead a small team with a fully equipped vehicle on our residential sites, private gardens, Oxford College gardens and large estates.

  • Your main duties will include: Grass cutting, hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearance and general garden work as required. Some sites will require bringing plants on in the greenhouses and potting up.

  • You will be required to ensure that all sites and external areas are maintained to an exceptional and reputable standard

  • General ground maintenance duties using hand tools and powered horticultural machinery.

  • Driving company vehicles, ensuring they are kept in full tact and any maintenance issues are reported in a prompt manner.

  • Making sure tools and equipment are looked after and well maintained.

    Passion for Horticulture/Gardening

  • Good plant knowledge

  • Great communication skills and customer service

  • Experience working for a landscaping or gardening company.

  • UK Driving license

  • Preferably a PA1 & PA6 spraying license

  • Have a basic understanding of mobile phone technology to ensure that work activity is properly recorded., Gardeners: 3 years (required)

    Pay: £27,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
