Full Job Description
As a team member you will be responsible for:
- Provide a warm, vibrant welcome to all guests.
- Assist guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
- Demonstrate full knowledge of the hotel's facilities.
- Deal with any complaints politely and positively, making every effort to resolve there and then.
- Be able to deal with reservation requests, confirmation of bookings and special requests.
- Support all members of the Team to achieve and maintain standards to the highest possible level.
- Attend briefing and debriefing sessions whilst on shift.
- Attend monthly team meeting.
- Be aware of health and safety procedures within the departments
All applicants must be over the age 18 years old.
Working as part of the housekeeping team is an essential part of the business, communication and high standards are a must, liaising closely with the Headhouse keeper to maintain the values of the Royal Oak.
You will also be required to work in our award winning restaurant, so a background in waiting on would be an advantage.
You should have a warm, presentable, personable nature, and a positive attitude with a great work ethic.
You will know and understand what it means to deliver amazing hospitality and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guest's expectations.
You will be expected to achieve a level of service through the constant monitoring of our established standards.
As a result you should be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards. In this type of industry teamwork is key; you should be a strong team player willing to lend a hand wherever needed across all departments.

A knowledge of Guestline/Rezlynx is an advantage but not essential as full systems training is provided.
