Full Job Description

Starting beginning of September. German speaking after school childcare needed: An enthusiastic, fun, artistic and creative German speaking helper needed to care for two children: 4 and 10 years old. After school pick up and play in German with the 4 year old and sometimes pick up of the 10 year old.

Hours: 3:15pm - 6:30pm during school term.

We are happy for you to bring your baby/toddler with you.

We are bilingual, you will mostly be looking after the youngest child, Koji, and talk solely in German to him. We live on a farm and there are chickens, cats, vegetable garden, football pitch so someone who is happy to be den building and playing hide and seek and kicking a ball about would be brilliant.

We both work in the arts so ideally you're someone creative, there is a room in the house just for painting, sewing and clay which is full of things to do.

You will need to cook a healthy evening meal from scratch and ideally be someone who is comfortable and likes cooking - we eat a pescatarian diet.

The four year old plays tennis and piano - so would be perfect to find someone who plays either of those, but not necessary. There are tennis courts in the village and he has a lesson which you'll take him to once a week

Our ideal helper will be lively and fun with a "get up and go" attitude, but who can instil their authority when needed. The children have asked for someone as close to Mary Poppins as possible!

We are looking for someone seeking a long term role and you will need to drive as we're in a village but we can look at getting an extra car if you need it to commute.
