Full Job Description

  • Collection of soil and groundwater samples/data during assessment and remedial activities at sites throughout the UK.

  • Management of subcontractors during assessment and remedial activities at contaminated sites in the UK.

  • Compilation of and interpretation of field and analytical data.

  • Preparation of text, tables, and/or figures for reports.

  • Support of contracts managers in the planning and organisation of remedial activities.

  • Assisting project managers with factual and interpretive reports

    Although relevant experience in any of these subjects is desirable, these roles would suit recent graduates and offer graduates and staff with up to 1 years' experience. The successful applicant will benefit from a chance to learn technical and project management skills in the workplace. We are looking for people to join our team who are professional and personable, who possess a good knowledge foundation, excellent organisational skills, a high level of initiative and self-motivation., BSc or BEng in Environmental Science, Geology or Geography or a related subject.

  • MSc or MSci - Geology / Hydrogeology / Contaminated Land / Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science (not essential).

  • A full, clean, UK driving licence.

  • A competent user of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to pay close attention to detail.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, following precise protocols.

  • Self motivated, friendly and confident interacting with clients / the public.

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skill
