Full Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Marketing Manager to join one of the best regarded regional motor Groups in the UK, leading and executing our marketing strategy to deliver commercial success across all of the Waylands brands.

You will be based at our Oxford office, with travel across our 10 sites in Berkshire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Avon, as well as attendance at some of our product placement events.

A hands-on approach required for all areas of communication and marketing for the business, supported by a team of 2 assistants. Successful candidates will need a passion for customer experience and a real interest for growing the business with the following key responsibilities. You will:

  • Develop and execute cost effective and comprehensive marketing plans to achieve company objectives, including increasing brand awareness, generating sales and aftersales enquiries and driving revenue growth.

  • Oversee the company's online presence, including website management, search engine optimisation, and social media channels; managing the providers and agencies involved in each of these key areas.

  • Working with internal management team, suppliers and manufacturers to develop marketing campaigns that align with business goals and target audience preferences.

  • Manage the creation and distribution of all marketing materials for the group, including showroom assets, direct mailers, adhoc digital content and social media campaigns.

  • Plan and execute events, product placements and promotional activities to engage customers and showcase our products and services.

  • Ownership of CRM for the business, ensuring regulatory compliance in line with GDPR with ongoing maintenance to ensure accuracy at all times.

  • Regular reporting to directors key performance indicators including ROI on marketing spend. Providing relevant commentary and construct action plans for improvement on any falling short of expectations.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a competitive edge

    As well as being a hands-on self motivated team player, successful candidates will ideally demonstrate the following:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing with a focus on the automotive industry strongly preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions and recommendations.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas to diverse audiences.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM systems (Keyloop preferable), Google Analytics, and social media management tools.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement., Automotive Marketing: 1 year (required)

  • Salary of £60k plus bonuses (OTE £75k)
