Full Job Description
- To provide comprehensive Health & Safety Management support to clients, acting as their competent person.
- Supporting clients to ensure their procedures and working practices are safe and comply with legislation and guidance.
- Undertake thorough health and safety management audits and producing remedial action plans across a range of sectors including education, retail, charity and construction.
- Support in the development of local policies and procedures.
- Support to carry out risk assessments and method statements.
- Produce high quality reports regarding hazard identification, accident investigations and funding applications.
- Support of property related health and safety matters including Fire Safety, Asbestos and Legionella Management.
- The delivery and development of a range of CPD accredited H&S training including asbestos management, accident investigation and manual handling.
- Undertake scrutiny of Educational Visits in line with Outdoor Educational Advisors Panel National Guidance
- Produce newsletters and bulletins.
- Liaise and support with internal colleagues on matters of health and safety.
- Maintain cloud based platforms for eLearning and incident reporting.

· Around 2/3 years' experience in health and safety as a minimum.
· A minimum of a NEBOSH Certificate qualification must be held to be fully competent in the role.
· Comfortable with digital and cloud-based systems.
· You must have strong interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role.
· Be a team player and support the wider team if necessary.
· Be flexible.
· Be open to UK wide travel where required.
· Hold a full UK driving licence.
