Full Job Description

To assist Registered Nurses in the care of patients transferred the same day for discharge to home / other hospitals / care home

Assist with mobility and nutrition while they are with the department

Assist patient to the front entrance and collect from wards during busy periods

Main duties of the job

Care of bed patients following ward care plans

Nutrition and fluids

Assist to the bathroom

Assist Registered nurses to care for the patients by taking observations and documenting care given

Transfer of patients to the main entrance and from the wards

Answering the telephone and relaying messages
